I did pour volunteer work for LibreOffice and its antecessor for about sixteen years. I worked in different roles for the open source project during this long periode. The project consumed a lot of my spare time. But then I experienced a ‘nice’ communication experience inside the community (from some ‘core’-members), that showed me a lack of respect for my project work, its value and also for my person. Thus I decided to completely stop my pour volunteer work within the project three month ago. The LibreOffice extensions and templates website (extensions.libreoffice.org) lost its maintainer and project reviewer since that time.
I used my free cycles to improve my fitness. And I was able to do this way something in balance to my day by day payed office work. Seemed it was a smart decision 😉
I attended my first after work health training today. The training took place within a group of eleven people. It picked the common health issues of office workers and will help to improve them. Nice evening within the group.
Afterwards driving home and pack the bag for a three days skill enhancement about current European topics.
I sized the chance to pass another training run without rainy conditions. I repeated the same lap as some days ago and my time per kilometer and also my pulse were better than before. It seemed my shape is improving although I attended a Nordic walking training yesterday.
Again out for a trainings run to improve my fitness. The weather is a bit windy and rainy, but that didn’t kept me from running. It works better than expected. I successfully completed a 11 kilometer lap in a reasonable time again.
